Storymentor
Storymentor is a Greece-based storytelling organization that designs and delivers programs, platforms and training initiatives to amplify voices, strengthen communication capacity and advance narratives for social good. Operating at the intersection of storytelling, leadership development and public discourse, it works with organizations and individuals across the non-profit, education, philanthropy and business sectors to help them articulate their mission, impact and values with clarity and authenticity. Since its founding in 2019, Storymentor has collaborated with more than 120 organizations, combining strategic narrative development with hands-on capacity building to enable stories that connect, inspire and drive meaningful change.
Introduction & utilization of donation
With the support of the Helidoni Foundation, Storymentor is launching the Good Stories Labs, a capacity-building initiative aimed at equipping non-profit leaders and civil society practitioners in regional Greece with essential storytelling and presentation skills.
The program addresses a critical gap in visibility and communication capacity among changemakers operating outside major urban centers. While significant social impact work is being carried out across regional Greece, it often remains underrepresented due to limited access to structured training in storytelling and public communication.
Through a series of five full-day workshops delivered across selected cities in Greece between March and September 2026, the program will reach 75–100 participants, including civil society leaders, social entrepreneurs, educators and artists. Each workshop is designed as a hands-on learning experience, enabling participants to develop, refine and present their own impact stories.
The grant enables Storymentor to design and deliver a scalable training framework that combines practical skill-building with immediate application. Participants will leave the program with a fully developed, ready-to-use narrative that can support fundraising efforts, partnership development and public engagement.
Beyond individual skill development, Good Stories Labs contributes to strengthening local leadership ecosystems by enhancing the ability of organizations to communicate their work effectively, attract support and expand their reach. The program also creates a pipeline of regional voices that will be featured in the Good Stories Summit 2026, Storymentor’s flagship annual event, thereby connecting local impact with national visibility.
At a broader level, the initiative supports the development of a stronger storytelling culture within the Greek social impact sector, reinforcing the role of narratives as a tool for engagement, collaboration and systemic change.
