Ten Million Hands is a non-profit organization founded in Athens in November 2022, dedicated to promoting ethical and sustainable living by raising awareness, educating consumers and businesses, and providing practical tools that enable conscious consumption and production. Through its core pillars - the Information Hub, the Conscious Marketplace, and its prepaid Conscious Meal and Benefits Cards - the organization empowers individuals and companies to align their everyday economic choices with their social and environmental values, while building a financially sustainable model that supports its mission
Introduction & utilization of donation
With the continued support of its funding partners and following previous grants since 2022, Ten Million Hands is currently undergoing a strategic transition to strengthen its financial tools and expand its impact. At the same time, the Information Hub continues to produce articles, podcasts, and educational content, while the Conscious Marketplace is expanding its network of merchants, with the goal of onboarding 100 major retailers and strengthening partnerships with small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly in the hospitality sector.
The grant will also enable Ten Million Hands to further promote its mission and tools to businesses and the wider public. Through targeted communication campaigns, merchant engagement, and corporate outreach, the organization aims to increase adoption of its Conscious Meal and Gift Cards, with a target of issuing approximately 10,000 cards in 2026. These efforts will not only generate sustainable revenue for the organization but will also incentivize more businesses and consumers to participate in a values-driven economic ecosystem.
Looking ahead, Ten Million Hands is committed to establishing itself as the leading organization for conscious and sustainable consumption and production in Greece. By combining education, technology, and partnerships with the private sector, the organization is building the foundations for long-term systemic change. Its vision is to empower businesses and consumers to adopt responsible practices and to contribute to shaping policies and market conditions that support a more ethical, sustainable, and inclusive economy.
